Well it will all be downhill from Cheyenne. The landscape is flat and green with oil pumps scattered around. You see a cluster of trees so you know there is a house somewhere in there. When we cross into Nebraska the north side of the interstate is flat and the south side has rolling hills.

I have to admit today was not fun. There was an incredible amount of wind all day. It started in the morning as a 20 mph side wind and by the end of the day it had turned into a 30 mph head wind. I started in Grand Island this morning and by the time I got to York I had decided it was the worst day ...

Aurora is such a beehive of activity! After last week's business tours and campaign event, it was a pleasure to return for the well-attended Home and Garden Show and to meet with supporters and voters.

What made it extra special was that my interview last week with the Aurora News-Register was in the current week's paper on Page 1, so the new people I met were already somewhat familiar with my name!
