    ... through Tampa very close to the airport and made our way out to the beach along the Memorial Causeway. It was close to 11 am and we were lucky to find a parking spot so opted to walk. It really was a picture perfect day - bright blue skies, turquoise ocean, white powdery sand, lots of eye candy for Richard ( not to mention Marty and I!) bronzed and burned bodies, sand castles, shells, birds etc as we wandered north along the beach to Pier 60.

    We wandered inland ...

    It's the best and worst of the trip!

    ... hills. And with the Alaskan Pipeline, why is gas so expensive??

    Most embarrassing moment on the trip: When Carol fell off the stool in Pikes Place Market. The little women that helped her up was surprisingly sturdy (“I thought it was a big man!” – Carol).

    Small world experience: Our dentist, Dr. Moody and his wife was on the same cruise!

    Most frustrating post trip incident: 48 hours since we got home ...

    ... did some more tuck pointing-this time hanging out the 5-story window in a harness! We finished up our work and then headed to go clean up. We ate lunch and then headed over to Christ in the City Lutheran Church and took a tour of the first church Pastor Randy helped to renovate. The church also has a daycare center upstairs and living space in the basement. The church itself is actually a coffee shop that is open all week ...
