... the weather is so abysmal.

We followed this up by going to the ice cream
social on Sunday. This was the first time for me to attend this, and possibly
the last, as this was the last ice cream social of the year in the park. The
ice cream social is held every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and we usually have not even
thought of dinner yet alone ice cream. On this particular Sunday we were just

So dutifully I go to the banking down tab on the top bar of
my I Google page, which by the way is not my “I” Google Page anymore, it is a
          fake replica called ...

We were heading to San Antonio next - we had stayed there last year and knew that some delightful Canadians we had met, Ron and Helen would be there. We had enjoyed the park and were keen to see the City again in it's Christmas glory. We knew we could walk to it via it's impressive River Walk - 5 miles from the park to the City. En route though there was a Costco opportunity - never miss one - and we wanted to stock up - oooooh I love ...

... to Resaca De La Palma. First bird we found there was PHILADELPHIA VIREO. A good start. As we walked down to the Resaca, we got into a nice feeding flock of warblers that was made up of BLACKBURNIAN, CERULEAN, GOLDEN-WINGED, BLACK-THROATED GREEN, ORANGE-CROWNED, and MAGNOLIA. Again no kingfishers so we headed out. As we were heading for the car one of the park workers drove up in his golf cart to talk to us. I immediately noticed his ...
