... road in many areas. Beautiful path near Watson which is also where Daniel Boone and his sons lived after moving from Kentucky. The Boone's operated a salt lick in the area and is where Daniel Boone died at age 84. A huge amount of history in this area which was the first area settled west of the Mississippi.

St. Charles is also on the Katy trail which is a bike/hiking trail that runs across Missouri from near the Mississippi, then along the Missouri river and ends about 200 miles west of St. Charles. I will be traveling close to it for the next couple of days and I was able to ride a few miles of it today.

... from Manly Beach. SLSCs are all over Australia and are all voluntary life guard groups that patrol Aussie beaches. They went into the ocean, around the head, into sydney harbor, up the parramatta river and to Oly Park. I think because the current RI president Ron Burton is from Oklahoma or because Rotary's home is in the Chicago area, the US flag was the second to last flag in. After some Olympic theme music accompanied each of the other countries flags ...

All of us dwarves were talking about Bilbo and Fili was on guard. Then out of no where Bilbo came up of the bushes! I honestly thought he had died but not even close!
