Passed a small town called Crowell, past Vernon and it looked like a town from Back to the Future!!! Still seeing oil rigs and wide open land. ... temp was 99! It's now 101 as I write this and the wind is blowing across this crazy odd landscape at high speed. Dinner, I think, will consist of leftovers.....it's too darn hot to cook!
