      ... or playing fields, they have been green. Springfield Station was quite sparse. There was a waiting room (you'd need it in winter) with toilets and a chocolate vending machine. But that's about it. Ian reckoned Wellington (NSW) station was prettier. Well our next train was only about 40 minutes late so I suppose in Amtrak terms, that's not late!
