    ... by an endless bottom of soft drink. Overall the meal wasn't too bad and well priced.

    As we arrived here late, there wasn't a lot of time to look around, but after consulting trip advisor, there didn't appear to be much here anyway.

    Binghamton was the beginning of a cold snap for us, which would continue over the next few days.

    More driving tomoz, next stop Jamestown - then there will be some splainen to do.

    ... a picnic lunch. It was so nice with no flies or mozzies. Very few people so definitely no noisy radios like yesterday.
    Idyllic in fact!

    There was a small military museum but we gave it a miss.

    As we were driving along, I saw a sign to a waterfall, and wanted to investigate. Great name Taughannock Falls. Almost as good as some names in NZ eh! I really like the rock colours round ...

    ... of us went to a glass museum. the museum had live demonstrations of glass blowing, fiber optics and breaking glass. we could also make our own things, but we had to come back the next day to pick it up.
    after the museum, a member of our group knew somebody who owns a family camp close by, tyne camp has better facilities like a better hipline, and a permanent bouncy pillow thing, so we just jumped around and acted like kids.

    • The 4th celebrations were canceled and there were flash flood warnings so I decided to leave Maine a day early.
    • We went to a farm share lunch and enjoyed the sharing of knowledge from herbalists. In the afternoon we were back in Fryeburg painting the floor in the master bedroom. Monday Kathryn's son ...
