Today started at 4:45am! We got up, dressed and headed straight to Mexico international airport...where we were faced with the line of death! Shane started stressing we would miss our flight, I reassured him someone would grab us out of line. Sure enough someone did, we checked in, made it through security in time to board our flight to San …

Today started with such promise as we made breakfast and were out the door in good time.

Not much greenery at all.

We arrived in LA at about 6.15am. Took us about 30 minutes to get through Immigration and Customs. They scanned our fingerprints but weren't interested in searching our luggage. We picked up our hire car and headed off. We got a free upgrade on the car, not sure why but we weren't going to complain. The car is a Scion. Very strange looking squarish thing but heaps of room.

    We ...

Tonight we went out for our first Chinese food in America. It was reasonable (if 5 Taiwanese, 1 Chinese, and me say it's good Chinese food, then that's not just American Chinese food ;) ). ngOur waitress told me she came to the US 30 years ago from Taipei, but until now still cannot read and write English! 今天晚上去 ;吃第一次ߑ 3;國餐。還Ç 81;錯(如果5 ...
