        ... Sadly, the ref seemed to get a little tired of ruling offside at the breakdown in the 2nd half so thing got a bit messy. Fortunately, a full team handshake was not required until full time. By then the hard grounds and the free flowing game was taking its toll as our boys started to drop with cramp. Overall, a good performance, but there's still a lot of room for improvement with our decision-making and ball skills.

        ... in Ballarat, although not nearly on the same scale. It’s a few blocks of old timey gold rush style buildings and boardwalks, train station, water front etc. There are plenty of overpriced things to buy if you wish, and plenty of reasonable priced things.         We did spend one day travelling up to Split Rock lighthouse. It was a wonderful day. We went to Two Harbors and had our lunch, and then over to Gooseberry Falls where we hiked around and watched the fools playing on the slippery rocks – none fell in though; and then on up to the lighthouse.
