... to set everything up right. I didn't think I would do too badly getting it all going, but I would prefer that if I had an uncomfortable night due to inexperience that it be an hour and a half from home rather than at the start of a months-long journey. The rain was actually beneficial, too, since it gave me experience setting up my hammock in less-than-ideal conditions, and it showed me I knew how to do it since I slept warm and dry. ... but still...

So now there is the mad rush.... try to take care of any outstanding issues left unresolved, finish things up at work, try to eat everything in your house that could possibly go bad in a few weeks, and try to figure out what you can pack ahead of time and still have clothes to wear prior to the trip. A travel blog entry by k.c77 on Nov 14, 2014

Oklahoma was a beautiful state but I did not have time to stay. Now that I am in Arkansas I am going to have The Grilled Atlantic Salmon from a restaurant I found called South Park. It was $9.99 and then I had a water to drink. Next I got gas at Valera for $44.69 and then I arrived at a Holiday Inn Express so ...

      Planning

A travel blog entry by cherubtowaffles on Nov 08, 2014

... do in the 2 1/2 weeks I'll have over there. Like most places, there is simply too much to do and see and not enough time to do it all in. Add in to that the fact that we'll want to do some simpler activities, like watching some anime together in the same room for a change, that will also take up time.

I'm not super worried though. I know, no matter what we end up planning, we're going to have a great time. The novelty of actually being in ...
