... something I'd not had before and something totally American. So biscuits and gravy it was. So the biscuits are basically a savoury scone and the gravy is kind of like a cheesy white sauce. Not what I would imagine biscuits and gravy to be. Tasted amazing though and the girls said I was having something very southern and a proper Texas breakfast. So good!! Loved breakfast but we had the most annoying screechy women on a table next to us we ...

... River gathering last year. Wrapped up against the chilly windy drizzle in our sweaters and cagoules, the canopy was closed quicker than normal to keep whatever warmth there was inside! 1900ft was as high as we could go to start with, but the visibility under the cloud base was much better than anticipated. For the first 45mins, flying at this lower height did afford more detailed views of what was 'flashing by’ below us – we had a tail wind of 15 kts. To ...

Eric and Blake were true gents helping me walk the wonky paths in my heels, literal slopes I had to be guided along which was hilarious! Blake helped me all the way back to my car, by which this point me and Carlie had our shoes off walking the cobbles! The night ended with a dance party in the car on the way home and getting in at half 3! Perfect night ...

... Asian elephants, giraffes, African penguins and the mountain lions. The male lion let out a very loud roar when he got up and stretched. We viewed a bald eagle which was a huge bird as were the vultures. The Texas area was an old western town which we walked through before viewing the local animals including the rattlesnake. Thankfully in a very secure glass enclosure. They were very sleepy as it was so ...

... Dallas Mavericks play the Golden State Warriors. I was interested to see how 7ft tall Aussie, Andrew Bogut performed in the NBA.

What a great venue with a lot of terrific innovations to encourage crowd participation and interest. The game was never that close with the Mavs winning 103-99 after leading by 17 points early in the 4th Qtr.
