It was an early morning this morning, as we wanted to make an early Coors Brewery tour. As it turned out, the tours started at 10, so we had plenty of time. We parked on the street and caught the shuttle bus, which drove around a bit of Golden, then went to the brewery. ... we made it right on time!) we headed for Temple Square and the Mormon Temple grounds. This was fantastically interesting. There we met two young women who were Mormon missionaries -- one from Venezuela and the other from Brazil -- who showed us around and took us through the various buildings. ... riding our bikes in the dark back towards town for a few miles, seeing more deer and a fox with its mouth full of all sorts of dead goodies. Once we reached mobile reception we had the roadside assistance on their way and had to ride back up, in darkness - who knows what animals were watching us from the roadside. Lesson learnt. The second gas tank indicator when reading 3/4 of a tank actually means empty. Just when I said we had mastered Bessy, turns out ...

... it only opens in the evening. Looking around we decide to lunch in the Hong Kong restaurant close by while we do our laundry. Definitely not something we regret. Excellent food, extremely fast and good service and cheap.

Since we have plenty of miles to drive to get to the Grand Canyon and the weather doesn't look so nice, we decide continue our way. We need to get to Vernal, but that won't be possible in a single day so we aim for Rock Springs. Just as we ...
