    ... take Auburn’s picture at the town sign, the post office and the church. She was in her glory! While Kevin made the sandwiches and the kids played at the park (all old wooden playground equipment, I especially liked the old merry go-round), I snapped pictures of this unique little town. It was like stepping back in time. What the village of Auburn lacks in size it makes up for in beauty.

    ... so we got on to I80 and headed for Rock Springs. We saw some very interesting clouds and skies along the way, especially around Elk Mountain. Continuing across, we actually saw some sunshine, then right back into rain. It is getting warmer, though. Even at 6975 feet, it is 53F.
