We woke up this morning and decided to take it pretty leisurely as our train left at 2pm and we had done pretty much all we wanted to do in Chicago (plus we had our massive bags which we didn't want to lug around too much!) ... for the 3 days, while we were there conserving our water & holding tanks, plus using their showers which weren't too bad but...certainly not as nice as our own! This is the price of securing a site online in Iowa State Parks.
Anyways, it was a beautiful park with great hiking trails around the lake,which was pretty from a distance & yucky up close. Absolutely won't be swimming in that water!!
