    ... on in the week we headed up to Tofino, stopping in Cathedral Grove, where the biggest (and possibly oldest) trees in Canada are hiding. The oldest one there was an enormous Douglas fir towering above the height of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and a wopping 800 years old. Unreal!!!

    ... all the way back to New Foundland, in fact. It's a fitting way to mark the completion of my own Trans Canada adventure...nearly 2500 miles ago I was in Charlottetown, PEI - seems like a long time ago now.
