      ... beautiful and around 20 degrees so quite comfortable really. The old victorian hotel The Empress is very imposing looking out across the harbour. The English definitely stamped themselves here in Victoria.

      It was getting on for 12.30 p.m. and it had been 9 hours since we had eaten and chose a cafe on the boardwalk which turned out to be a great idea. I had fresh snapper and Jen had red corn chips with all these fancy dips. ...

      ... our name and today's date on it!!!!! Tim was very polite and since the campsite was actually cold, crowded and damp, said helpfully; "well, I don't know that I need to make you move, I will go see if I can find another site…" We did find a much better location, and were thanked profusely by the Rangers for being flexible and accommodating and the dizzy lady who can't read signs, make plans accurately or even consider the possibility that she might have been wrong…..ended ...

      ... was getting late, so I took the shuttle back to the
      Symphony, arriving about 5.
      For the second straight night all 8 of us were at our dinner table. I had a
      kosher half chicken which turned out to be considerably more than I needed after
