... hike to get there was difficult and since she broke her wrist several years ago, she is always afraid of falling. She overcame her fears and made it the whole way.

He works at the coal mines just 5 minutes from the park and has 6 kids lives in Haysi about 30 minutes away but they like to camp in the summer and stay at the site as he travels to and from work. The coal mines are closing all over the areas due mostly to the high regulations that the government has put on them……This area also is high poverty ...

... 4 days! And last time I was in the holar, I had no phone reception and very limited internet access! It was like living in the old days! lol Not that those things are important... I'm just not used to being in the house with no technology, no car and now a 10 year old who cannot wait for me to visit... But I can honestly say it was an absolute delight.
