    ... to where I started. The ferry had a 2 HP electric motor to pull it back and forth. We took lots of pictures. Then we were off to Bo's Hollow. Mom Lynn and son Mark seem to run the place. They have a "30's Gas station and a little village with a Barber shop, Post office, Telegraph office, General store, Jail and Smoke House that sold beef jerky. We took a tour of the property and shop were they restore Model A's. Right now Dave is working on restoring a Vicky. ...

    ... The speedy machine would not print my tag for my bag. I was told to go to the desk. The first gentleman punched a myriad keys on his computer and kept getting a puzzled look on his face. Uh oh I thought. He said he would be right back. He eventually emerges with this short woman with slim glasses on the edge of her nose. She punched even more keys, had the same puzzled look on her face. That's when she mentions to the first gentleman about something being cancelled. ...

    ... did get some strange looks like "stupid tourists", I don't think the locals do too much outdoor walking in winter! The worst bit though was that there was no Post Office where it should have been, I whipped out my trusty iPhone to double check we were reading the map right and yes, this is where we should be.     ... the ride to the top after a brief questionnaire as to weather we had a fear of heights or claustrophobia. I have a little of both but did not plan on that getting in the way...figuring it would not be a big deal.
