... 6pm. It was about this time that I decided we should both get out of our pyjamas and head out. We had dinner in an Irish pub and I taught Julie as much as I could about American football. She is a fast learner.

Friday and Saturday followed almost an identical pattern. We got up early and walked twenty minutes to the baseball park to line up for a deal called ‘First Pitch’ tickets. Basically, at 9am when the ticket booth opens, there ...

... Sugarfire BBQ and Grill. We managed to beat the dinner rush, and enjoyed some pulled pork, baby backs, and brisket. Sides included smoked and baked beans, coleslaw, and Mac n' Cheese. We washed it down with some lemonade - happy people once again. Dinner was awesome; it really hit the spot. Our room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clayton, was waiting for our full bellies. The room was nice, it included an executive level happy ...

Once again we started our day with a fabulous breakfast in the Lower Lobby, today I was a little less dressed so was comfortable through breakfast. Back to the room to don a few more layers and we're ready to spend yet another day exploring St Louis, my phone said it was -10 but feels like -18, looking out the window it looked so nice and sunny, surely it can't feel that cold?

The plan was to check out Central West End and Delmar Loop however as my suitcase needed replacing ...

... first stop was a miss hit.
The bar had closed. We’d later
learn that a dispute between the renter and landlord had ended badly for
Elmo. Biking along South Broadway, we
landed at Highlights Bar and Grill (7301 S. Broadway).

          It was
about 11 in the morning, and we were not the first patrons. There was a gentleman already at the bar
sipping a beer and chatting with the bartender, who seemed like a nice chap,
          even ...
