    ... br> We stopped at 100 Mile House where there is one of the original stagecoaches from the Barnard Express and Stage Line. The stage ran as late as 1917.

    Farther along at the 108 Mile Ranch is a restored and recreated ranch which at one time was home to champion Clydesdale horses and lumbering operations. It was a working ranch until 1969.

    The truck navigation system tried to get us to drive straight up Hwy 1 from Hope to Lac La Heche, but I convinced it to take Hwy 5 (the Coquihalla Hwy) through Kamloops.     It was a long day that started at 5:30 so we could drive to Penticton for our 9:00 appointment. We dropped the trailer with Cynthia and the dogs in Murray's used car lot.
