The adventure begins

... the 25th year of the German reunification (1989). They were expecting thousands of people in Frankfurt and we actually ( on Saturday night) watched the major event on the TV. Dinner was at a very small local eatery where we had pork and potatoes ( of course) and wine. We sat at long wooden table with style. A neighborhood German place full of locals and fun to experience. We returned "home" and settled down for the night.

Travel has ended BUT the memories last forever!

... highlights of the day were socializing Jerry Wrinkle, son of my fourth grade teacher at Chilhowee Elementary School, who was serving as a tournament official, and Knox County Sheriff J.J. Jones, whose officers provided security for the event. Another interesting side story was talking to some attendees who had used Uber to taxi them there and ferry them home. We also had Krystal for lunch. This is
a place that does quite small burgers so you buy them by the dozen.
We decided to get 2 dozen between us knowing Josh can eat 3-5 of a
normal size burger if he is allowed. We got nothing else since you
can get fries anywhere and we had water in the RV. Verdict: Never
again! Eeeewwww. We were all hungry enough to have a couple, then
