    Well...here I am in St Louis. This city has so much history and in it's own old way is really quite beautiful. It is hard to know where to go though. I didn't eat breakfast so I could stop at some soul food restaurant perhaps and have me a locally cooked vegetable plate or something. Easier said than done!     ... and we are going to schedule his school to talk to on next year's trip. That was the exciting part of my day, the rest was pretty uneventful. I ended up making it to Macon which was 22 miles from Moberly. Tomorrow I will shoot for Jefferson City which is 92 miles from Macon. I know it's far but we are turning south and the guy that stopped us told us that it gets flat. Hopefully he was right and I am able to make it all the way. Today I rode 60 miles. ...

    I'd emailed/left messages for the library, the newspaper, and a daycare in Paris a week and a half ago to see about us stopping by to do John's program or an interview or something....didn't hear anything back from anyone. That's okay; it happens all the time.

After leaving the museum we continued our ride on NE 2 east to 29 south. This briefly brought us into Iowa and then Missouri.
