... makes sense of the many confusing directions of the GPS. For example, "In one quarter of a mile, keep left, bear right, keep left, take ramp on right to highway 1 676 West, 200 south, North Bound, then take exit on right!!"
Later we arived in Philadelphia, a little confusion as the GPS led us into a less than desirable area ( we needed 12th avenue, not 12th street), but we made it safe and sond to our lovely hotel!

We woke up to yet another beautiful day. We drove to Hyde Park and toured President Franklin Delano Roosevelts home and library. What an amazing man! Firstly, he is the only four term president and secondly, he was paralysed from the waist down for his entire presidency, as he contracted polio at the age of 39. We headed to Connecticut today. First
stop was a Covered bridge at West Cornwall. It's one of the only
working covered bridges left in USA. We were 5 inches too tall to go
through it although some of the kids were all for trying! It was like
a movie, long and red and the setting was very picturesque. The

... It is starting to feel as if I am going to dislocate that ankle again. Not sure what I injured last week.....but it is getting worse. I need to do 20 - 25 mile days from now on.....so will have to see how it holds up. After 19 miles today, we made it to RPH Shelter......and a TON of food :) so much in fact, we have to finish the rest of it in the morning.....even with 7 hikers here!
