Today we took the city tour and JFK tour on a bus. For the first half we were the only passengers : private tour. On the JFK tour we followed the motorcade route, saw the school book repository from where Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK, we went inside LHO' s house, stopped where LHO shot officer Tippit, the theatre where LHO was captured, the police station where Jack Ruby shot LHO. Lots of background commentary and videos on tour. ...

I ordered a 10oz steak (the smallest) and ate ...

I have no idea why we always end up here in Texas for the winter time, but that has how it has been since we started traveling. Traveling this year looks like it will be very minimal, it's not that we have grown tired of traveling, it is just a pain in the tail to find a job after your summer job ...

    Relaxing Friday!

A travel blog entry by alaskalucas97 on Feb 15, 2013

Today we relaxed a bit around the house, and out and about. Seth had the chance to ride bikes, play some baseball, football, and just be outdoors. Grandpa, Derek and the boys went out to the rink next door so Grandpa could skate with the kids.

Carrie and I had a great lunch at the Cheesecake Factory - of which I had never been to one - and hit a few ...
