Spring has sprung in Denton. The trees are leafing up, roses are blooming and wildfowers and birds are everywhere. I walked into Denton this morning, about 2.6km. On the way I found a little piece of Tibet. It is a yoga place so I will be going back there for at least one class, just for the atmosphere. I didn't stop to get another chilli coffee as the café was crowded, so that will be on the list for Monday and Tuesday.... Along the way I happened on 'Sleeping ...

And the shops; there is a dress shop called La De Da where I could buy every dress!!! How unusual. Its sister shop next ...

Jean's cats are warming to me and I am getting rubs and being asked for pats and head scratches. A soft cool breeze is wafting through the window and I can sleep under covers which is a pleasant ...

Generally I am a big proponent of slowing time down. I am not obsessed with trying to recapture my youth on live for eternity, it just seems like every year and every month is lived and chronicled as history quicker and quicker when I pause to reflect on where I'm at and where I have been. However, with my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia; I can't spin the hands of the clock fast ...

    Brand New Year

A travel blog entry by larryg59 on Jan 07, 2014

Well here we are about 7 days into the new year and not much has happened with us at all, been here in Texas for about 1 month now, (not to bad of a place). I have no idea why we always end up here in Texas for the winter time, but that has how it has been since we started traveling. Traveling this year looks like it will be very minimal, it's not that we have grown tired of traveling, it is just a pain in the tail to find a job after your summer job ...
