... br> That evening we headed back to Franklinton to the Washington Parish Free Fair. This is the 2nd oldest fair in Louisiana and one of the largest in the country. We walked through agricultural, food, and craft exhibits, but our goal was the "Mile Branch Settlement" - a collection of vintage log cabins and buildings which have been brought here and lovingly preserved. The settlement is peopled by costumed ...

We came, we saw, we were turned away because no loads were ready... so we drove a bit down the road, and sat on our butts waiting, but luckily we got a new load, and its waiting in Louisiana for us. We are gonna snag it tomorrow morning then head on up to Wisconsin. Lots of nasty weather out there, several deaths, one in company even, so I am hoping we don't have to encounter any more of it.

Onto the hour drive to Kentwood which inevitably took almost 2 hours because girlfriend and I got super lost in the middle of nowheresville. We did manage to find the Kentwood Museum which was supposed to contain a mini-Britney museum inside. When we arrived, it was a tiny **** shack that was closed so then we managed to spend another half an hour searching for Britney's favorite burger joint, "Nyla's Burger Basket" in Kentwood, ...

... routing, 200 olive trees are to be uprooted. Many of these olive trees are upwards of 2000 years old, planted in Roman times. As the soldiers approached, the villagers and fellow internationals were pushed back into the residential area of the village, at which time my friends and I were gratiously welcomed into our friend's parent's house. True to custom, we were offered tea within a few minutes, and delicious home-made ...
