Had simple breakfast.....yogurt and toast with coffee. Walmart was .6 of a mile from the campground....so we went there. Needed a thing that we could use to jump start the colorado...as it was dead.....also a battery charger. Also bought watere, olives, sympathy cards, etc.......267.03 BOW debit ...
... RECIPE for Chicken Fricassee here. I modified it as follows:
- Added the spices when sautéing the chicken, rather than at the end
- Used 1 can of mixed veg instead of mushrooms and onions (easier for camping)
- No sour cream or fresh parsley
- Replaced marjoram and thyme with 1t. Italian Seasoning
- Stirred in 1 can cream of celery soup at the end
- Served it over instant rice.
Left home at 8am Sun 12/28/14. Was cold : right at ZERO, Thru Wisc & Ill. Roads were great - no snow on ground after Madison WI. Just on the road. Shooting for Paduca/Tenn state line?
