What a joy to be back in our own bed again and begin to get back into somewhat of a routine. We are home safe & sound...so Ohio...let it snow!

Aloha! Our bags are packed, the car is ready to be loaded and it looks like Old Man Winter is going to let us leave in the morning without any major issues. First stop, St. Clair, MO. We'll try to keep you updated as often as possible and as wifi allows!

Today was a short day, we only drove about five hours.
Once we were in western Ohio we saw rain. But, when we arrived in Columbus we saw SNOW!
You may have noticed, there were not as many complaints on this trip about the strange surroundings every night. I think we are beginning to get this travel thing down to a science. We have everything in a certain place and know what hotels we like to use for our accommodations. Now, if we could just ...
... Too tired
to make it to Cleveland so stopped at a campground. Beautiful place but
not a spot for our trailer. Moved on to the next campground. Nope.
It's luau night and no spots. Walmart national park here we come!!
Stopped for a steak
dinner before Walmart. It was a great meal that included 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and drinks. It was delicious and cost
less than last nights 2 appetizers and 2 drinks!!
... for the night. We were once again into lovely farmland, but the topography here reminded both of us of East Tennessee. We read earlier that this area is the edge of the Appalachians and I guess that is why it looked so much like our former home. It was nice to have a slower pace driving vs. the interstate.
We drove through Fredricktown, Ohio which was a very attractive old town. It must also have been a very wealthy town at one ...
