The staff was friendly, and my room was clean.
They still have the old CRT type tv's.
My only reason for the 3 star was the ptice.
I would give up the in room coffee and continental breakfast for s lower price. That's just me though. Others may not agree.

... as John had hoped, but we found a Motel 6 at Madera for under $70 (and therefore on budget) and there was even a Dennys Diner next door for the morning. In our room we had cans of drink and snacks from the vending machines downstairs while we checked our emails and made notes for our blog. We switched the air conditioning off at 10.30 and crawled in to bed in our sleep-inducing large comfortable room. Not that we needed any help in getting to ...

Saturday: we stayed a night in fresno, on our way to Los Angeles after visiting Yosemite.

by the time we left yosemite, it was pretty late, we drove down and we grabbed pizza for dinner @ fresno and headed to our motel in the vicinity.

in the motel, we watched some tv, and went to bed pretty exhausted from a long day of walking in the park.

when i reached the motel, there was a "Fresno Magazine", for the town ...

I woke up this morning, sweating profusely. I realized that it never cooled down last night, as I had expected. The night clerk was really nice about it, he checked out the new stystem, determined that it was in fact broken, and refunded $20+ tax, nice I decided to no longer write after I have ridden during the day, as I looked at what I wrote last night when I could barely find the energy to go out and eat, and it was not up to the standards that I want to produce. ...
