... the town itself is almost as old as the USA, guess we couldn't have the original buildings.

After walking around for a bit, we got back in the car and drove around looking at different
buildings. By then it was time to head back "home" and get ready for dinner.

After dinner we took a trip to DQ for some ice cream because we didn't go yesterday when we said we would.

Tomorrow we pack up and head for Rusk, TX and a few days of ...

After arranging our "home base" for the next week, we went looking around a bit. Didn't want to do too much or we wouldn't have a lot to do next week. So I'll just give you a bit. The footbridge Bob is standing in front of ...

So we stayed on US 59 and headed for Nacogdoches instead.

Actually it was an accident that we didn't make the turn, We came up to the ...

... to hear about where she grew up and spent most o her life - it was a joy. Lunchtime came quickly and we had lunch at a restaurant called Chicken-fill-a. It was so funny - the mascot is an inflatable cow with a sign saying eat more chicken. The food was fried and surprise tasty. I was also introduced to American Lemonade. - we call it lemon squash -but here it is made fresh - with ...

          Still in Nacogdoces!

After spending three nights in a Quality Inn so FT wouldn't have to button her up each night, we finally got to sleep in her last night as they thought they'd have the TV 's working in the AM. Well, during the night we found out the toilet (even with a new switch) still doesn't work. Bruce is afraid it's a loose wire. Theodore Perez is our man for ...
