The trip across Idaho was uneventful, but a few miles after we crossed into Utah, the winds picked up and got heavier as we drove to Brigham City. Once we got on I-15, we were driving straight into 20 plus mph winds with 30-40 gusts. The winds are suppose to clam down tonight, but climb back up tomorrow so we will hunker down here for a couple of nights.

We drove into Brigham City and there were a lot of fireworks around us. Apparently it was a local holiday, Pioneer Day. The next day, ZACH'S BIRTHDAY, we strolled around Temple Square in Salt Lake City and listened to a tabernacle organ concert. Then we headed to Canyonlands. Down the road was another restaurant where we were served by a warm friendly waitress, and enjoyed a delicious meal of fish, and self help salad at a very reasonable price. We laughed all the way home about our hilarious evening.
