The weather was a bit better today. A chilly 12 to start but sunny and went as high as 26 this afternoon. Lots and lots of straight boring roads with more corn fields! There were a couple of other crops, but we were not sure what they were. Appartently the state produces a lot of soybean, so maybe that was what we saw …

... up and mile back that the exhibits are spread over. My final destination for the day was Bloomington where I left the route on Friday. I ate at the Lucca Grill which was founded in 1936 by the Baldini brothers who named it after their home town in Italy. I had fried ravioli followed by the A La Baldini pizza which has sausage, pepperoni, ham, onions, mushroom, green peppers and pepperoncini on a very thin crust - it was fantastic. ... by the end of the day saying the same thing over and over. There is not much original left in the house - but we were told not to touch the walls or doors and stay on the blue carpet. The only thing we were allowed to touch was the original railing to assist ourselves climb the stairs. Before we knew it we were out the back door and the tour was over. Springfield Illinois - I now have a camera - yay! $79 on sale in Walmart, and a 16g SD card for $14.
It's a Sony Cybershot and will do the job. In the amazing world of Walmart we also bought a shovel, just in case.
