... The kids had fun with Ananya and her little sister. Nagashree made yummy avarekayi upittu for all of us, our first homemade meal nearly after ten days. Enjoyed their company and drove to manju and Jayashree's place in Folsom. Tejas and Pranav became good friends and had a good time while Tanvee enjoyed being big sister to Pratheek. We had a wonderful time at manju's and started our trip to the Bay Area.

... some rain gear in case it rained later on in our trip.  Lucky, lucky people - bought rain jacket and pants in Walmart for $10 each.  We also wanted to check out if all those emails we receive are true.  We looked and looked and looked but everyone appeared normal.  No oversize women with G-strings hanging out in sight - very disappointing.  You can, if you wish, purchase BB guns off the shelves for $19.95 and ...

... Hugh meals..I just had and entree of shrimp (our prawn size) and a side of mash potato. Al had pork chops, Rich had ribs and chicken ..could not get through it, Pete had steak and shrimp and Julie and Denise had huge backed potato with toppings. Back to motel to work out our route for tomorrow. Not going to Bonnaville salt plains..it has been cancelled due to too much rain. Alister is so disappointed. ...
