    ... very little vegetation & the dunes move very fast, the dunes to the east more very slow because there is lots more vegetation.     ... rode Honda Goldwings well into their golden years. Eleanor came golfing with Norm, Liz and I one day and was a lot of fun. Bill was a retired pilot that always had a good story and flew a very cool kite on the beach. We hope to make it down to Big Fork to vist with them and play some golf next year.

    Today we went to Hillsboro, then further up the mountain to Kingston and to Emery Pass at the top of the mountain. It is 8230 feet elevation. It was windy again today, but up at the top of the mountain it was snowing...and very cold!!! Emery Pass is at the top of the mountain. Phil said that you could usually see almost 100 miles out. We couldn't see very far due to the snow and wind. We ate at Arrey Cafe for lunch. ...
