... rain that persisted into the evening. We were quickly into the routine of peeling layers off as we entered stores, only to put them back on before stepping outside again. We stopped in at "Whole Foods", a popular supermarket that we have acquainted ourselves with on previous visits. ... in time to be completely drenched. After feasting yet again the sky had cleared and the temperature dropped, making it a perfect afternoon to walk around without over heating.

... a night of drinking by a bonfire and a day of boat rides and gin, I didn't really want to leave and was just getting into the beach set up they had here. Unfortunately, I couldn't miss my train to Washington, D.C. and gerri kindly took me to the station. I think the gin definitely helped me to prepare for the 16 hour train ride ahead. I definitely feel it is time to move on with my travels and see the next place but I am sad to leave the much needed home comforts paired ...

... long walk along the Chattahoochee River (yes, that is a real name) where I met a family of Canada geese and their gaggle of fuzzy goslings. Saturday May 3rd was also the day of the Kentucky Derby; we watched the race on their big screen TV with some visiting neighbors and polished off a bottle of hippo wine. What’s hippo wine, you ask? ... we deserved some sustenance so had a hot dog at Portillos.

Spent a pleasant hour at the Driehaus Museum - amazing Tiffany exhibition in an impressive old house, then walked back to the Hancock Tower. Up to the Signature Lounge for cocktails while we watched the sunset - magnificent! Dinner at Deco in our hotel

Sunday - Relaxed in our suite until check-out then headed back window-shopping along ...
