    ... e , gumbo and bread were all outstanding. I couldn't decide on my favorite. They have been written up in USA Today as well as Southern Living. Next we found a Good Sam RV Park nearby with all 10 ratings. Awesome place. We upgraded to a lake view.     Wednesday feb 18 the weather was warmer. We packed up and headed to Oak Alley Plantation (1200 acres) about an hour west of New Orleans. We arrived around 10:30. We did a guided tour of the home first then explored some of the grounds and perused the outbuildings that would have been slave quarters.
