Heading home in double quick time
I left Mount Shasta early morning-ish and, much to my surprise, the skies had cleared and I had a most wonderful view of Mount Shasta.

... Streets in cities and towns are very narrow, generally. Occasionally, there will be a very wide boulevard, but many streets are so narrow that our bus could barely pass between buildings.

A Few Days With Old Family Friends!
Today I arrived at Penny's house in Lacey, Washington. She was a neighbor of mine when I was a boy in Wellington. She has a beautiful house on a lake in Lacey which is just south of Seattle, Washington. I will be here 2-3 days visiting with her and her family. Having a cookout tomorrow and should be a lot of fun! Then Tuesday Im off to the Oregon coast down highway 101 and 1!

... this ship is knock out gorgeous. It reminds me a lot of a set from an English movie with dark wood paneling, Persian style rugs laid out in various designs, and wonderful artwork. It all seems so cozy, intimate, and inviting.
