    ... funny (but super strategic) piles of stuff: one for the tech stuff (chargers, cameras, cords), one for first aid, one for art stuff, etc. Slowly but surely the list of needs is dwindling.

    ... other side of the road. Then, almost without much warning, the steady rain intensified to almost cloudburst level diminishing visbility. A sharp drop in temperature also began to tense muscles, which made the going quite a bit tougher.     VISA woes and other news

    ... As it turned out, I still had issues with two of them, not getting appropriate confirmation letters, but I did work that out over the next few days through e-mail.

    I was charged 6 Euros per appt, except for the kids which ended up not costing. My visa said it was $7.55 US.

    Our problem now is the required 4-week turnaround for the VISAS will delay our exit for about two weeks.
