    Day 2 (October 19th) started out with the alarm going off at 3am, a cup of coffee and prayer for the day. After dressing my little toes with some additional padding and getting geared up we set out for Enumclaw to resume this day's stretch of the journey. Some light drizzle was already falling as we drove.

    VISA woes and other news

    ... As it turned out, I still had issues with two of them, not getting appropriate confirmation letters, but I did work that out over the next few days through e-mail.

    I was charged 6 Euros per appt, except for the kids which ended up not costing. My visa said it was $7.55 US.

    Our problem now is the required 4-week turnaround for the VISAS will delay our exit for about two weeks.
