... day. Captain Jared of Rainy Day Charters was awesome. It was just the five of us on board and we had an incredible time. we are gong to try to upload some photos. Watching my 10 year old and7 year old reel in these huge fish was something and seeing the smile on Elizabeth's face was such a reward. We also watched ...

      Humpback Whales

... I did see several steam puffs, although, I didn't see any of the whales come out of the water. We docked in Ketchikan without incident, and had just under a two hour layover. The ferry terminal was about 2 miles from downtown where the cruise ships dock, so I didn't think I could make it there and back. I was feeling a little queasy, not sure if it was the greasy breakfast or a little seasickness. I was really looking forward to seafood at the port, but I just wasn't feeling it. I've never been seasick on a cruise ship before so I am guessing it was breakfast. We headed back to the ship to relax for a while and beat the crowds back to the ...

      The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show

... they said you're a bunch of wimps. Are you going to take that from them?" I have no desire to take part in BS like this.

Of the hour-long show, about 75% was commentary from the hostess. Some of it continued like above. Some of it was pretending to misunderstand something in a "humorous" way. Most of it was pretty lame. To me, this was the "let's talk a lot of **** and reinforce a bunch of horrible stereotypes interspersed with bits of lumberjack action" show.
