... to be that travel agents were the last place people went because they thought they wouldn't get a good deal. But actually, now we can do all the work for you and still get you the best deal online. And besides, it's fun to go searchng for that perfect vacation!
Kelso, Washington, United States lovestravels... I ordered yesterday. Basically, I'm starting from scratch because not only do I not have experience working but I certainly don't know anything about the travel industry. But I started reading last night ( after a full day of coaching and watching my kids play soccer, whew!) and I can't wait to get started. I wish I had new clients yesterday! I hope you'll join me only my journey and find out if I can get you the best deal.
... I guess it's a good sign that I want to know it all! Today, I am researching travel agent forums and message boards so I can read about other journeys and find out things they wanted to know when they first started. I found a lot of forums for travelers but I read those too. The travelers are experts too, right? That way I'll learn what not to do to help clients.
Kelso, Washington, United States lovestravelsI climbed what is left of the mountain. It lost 1800 of the 10500 feet in the 1980 explosion. Despite the scare stories Id been fed it all went pretty smoothly except for the last 1600 feet which is thick ash and was truly brutal, vertical beach they call it and it was just like a huge sand dune. Still the view was cracking.
Dom is still loving the story of Henry Truman who refused to leave his home in Spirit Lake (i didnt ...
... br>The sites didn't have picnic tables (most parks have them at each site) and were also quite close together, so our awnings almost touched our neighbors, etc. The roadways were mostly dirt and since there hadn't been any rain (which might have been worse with mud) the dust was reallly bad. By the time we left there, our dark red SUV was completely covered in tan dust.

... and you know just when you think you are starting to enjoy yourself life happens. I lost my other Grandpa this morning...hard to grasp after just spending time with him a week ago...looking at pictures of a person who's soul is now at peace and free of a well lived in body. It is life, it doesn't make it any easier...or hurt any less, but in the end it is our common bond....what we all share no matter what religion or country or language we ...
La Center, Washington, United States jmojica... to DC, to San Fran, and now onto Hawaii....I'd have to say I'm a much different person. No...that's wrong. I've finally become myself. I haven't seen much of the world compared to some, but in the small amounts that I have brought myself out to view, to capture, to breathe in...I've found a little piece of my heart in every person..every photo...every meal...every night cap. It's captivating how much you learn about life once you ...
La Center, Washington, United States jmojica... clouds as I set off for my next short but wonderful adventure. I do wish in my heart I could be telling you that I would be landing in a foreign country where I know nothing of their language and little of their customs. But leaving what many call the "mainland" is a step far enough to discover new beauties. And as it seems custom, my writers block will suddenly lift and my creative spark will flow as I settle ...
La Center, Washington, United States jmojica... visiting two week "vacation." the funeral came and we said our tearful goodbyes. the next day i started up at my new waitressing job up with orientation...wasn't exactly up for smiling. the week would finish with saying goodbye to family, visiting grandma...and enough crying to last a good while. now i'm getting ready to sign up for fall classes, my training is up and going, and today my arm decided to get infected and i had to make a trek in for ...
La Center, Washington, United States jmojica... visa (apparently it was my fault that the immigration people in New York hadn't crossed it out when I left the country when it expired 2 years previously) and got mad when we wanted to pay our US$7 fee separately from each other and other passengers who we did not know. Welcome to the United States! On arrival in Seattle we walked to the Green Tortoise hostel, and checked into our room. We found that it had the highest bunk beds we'd ever seen ...
