... sidecar, came to our rescue with a jump from his car and it fired right up. As a note, we found the folks at this rally to be universally very friendly and happy to help with anything that was going on, and would definitely consider going back. Next time I will make sure the awards chair is consulted about their geographic ability though. We headed for I 86 via the local roads and rode ...

Lovely sunny hot day and we head to the docks to find our bikes. A short taxi ride and we are there and inside this warehouse we are introduced back with our bikes. What a lovely sight. I guess we take about two hours getting our bikes and luggage sorted, then we hit the busy road so many huge lorries around the port area.
After fueling up we hit the road north with a lunch stop at ...

... and that includes Niagara Falls! Soft shale has eroded way under the limestone layers which then fall down and are eventually washed away. As we walked along I noticed what I thought was a lot of leaves fallen down along hte hillside and it turned out to be shale peices. Of course I had to put one in my pocket for our meager collection of stones.

A fun little stop which got us some hiking in an otherwise long day of driving and shopping.
