For people who love to see Aeroplane and Gliders Elmira Soaring Museum is a must visit. There are places where visitors can just sit and watch the gliders being towed up in the air, and there is also the possibility to purchase a Glider ride for yourself.

The guard at the lower entrance said to take the Upper Gorge Trail loop clockwise for the most scenic view of Lucifer Falls. The beginning of the trail reminded me a lot of Watkins Glen but Lucifer Falls was much bigger than any of the falls there. The trail went right next to the top of the falls then the gorge opened up and the falls on the right side of the gorge while the trail ...

We got up on Thursday morning and headed out for Niagara Falls. It was about 150 miles, and the first fifty miles of the drive took us up along the west side of Seneca Lake. What gorgeous country! This is the heart of New York wine country, and vineyards and wineries were everywhere on our drive north. We stopped for a break in the town of Geneva, New York, one of the prettiest little towns I have seen in a very long time. ...
