... that you have not even known them for a month. Its still your life and its up to you whether you make it different or not.

Some things that I have noticed that are different about Canada though:
- The toilets have a lot of water in them and they do flush a different way
- Cheese is orange
- They have about 20 different kinds of milk
- No one locks ...

... working visa in Canada is intense. Not the process itself, but the lines to get up to the counter took about four hours.

Next big adventure for a sheltered child like myself was lugging my three massive bags on and off the train, not totally impossible until we got to the escalators. That was moment number one when i recognised the need to pack light. Definitely needed help with that one! Did conquer the train though and got stared at dragging three massive bags down ...

... hill is through the town of Invermere up the hill and worth the drive even just to see. I'm not a great skier, haven't been on skis for 10 yrs so there was a great trail that goes back and forth across the hill, not terribly steep - it's a great run to get you back into the swing of things, it was nice and long (no chairlift rides during the blizzard), views were awesome and there wasn't many people on it.
