Comfortable bed. Quiet. Breakfast was pretty bleak. Happy to get a room at the late hour that we stopped. The parking lot was full.

... any signs we wondered if that was where Corningware was made. That night we stayed at a delightful resort called Kinisee Lake in Jefferson Ohio. Our back window overlooked the lake and we had most of the resort to ourselves despite it being the Columbus Day holiday weekend.
Many of the cities all along the route for the past couple of days have very interesting names. We have seen Mexico, Jamaica, Geneva, Cuba, Dover, ...
... us again when we came through Indiana at the end of the summer.
So today was bittersweet.
My mom and my Uncle Ryan (who flew in from Aiguá, Uruguay to be with the family) drove out from Ft. Wayne, Indiana to see the show. Seeing as how there was no way Ryan would have ever seen our show and John perform in person, it was an unexpected sweet moment in the midst of a heavy month for us.

We learned at the Menno-Hof not to take pictures of the locals so we didn't, but there is always Google Images here to get an idea.
We drove from Chicago yesterday, along really busy highways, so by the time we got to the hotel in Elkhart, we were pooped.
Plus there was a time change putting the clock forward an hour, so we were way past our lunch time too!
So once at the hotel, we found a place that served grilled sandwiches. the first I've had in ages. They're nearly always bread rolls ala Subway style!.
