I was able to buy a few things that were handmade by the Amish people. We also went and had some lunch at an Amish restaurant and it was sooooo yummy! Everything they make is grown and made from scratch so everything is lovely and fresh and very healthy! They even make their own pasta!

City leaders finally realized that the river’s pollution was not only a disgusting mess but was entering Lake Michigan. And where do you think the citizens of Chicago got their drinking water? It took some extensive efforts but they got the river cleaned and now they have some of the cleanest drinking water in the nation.

I didn't eat very much there because we had eaten a late lunch and it was "dinner time" at 3pm, but mom said we had to adjust back to Eastern Time if we didn't want to have any jet lag (even though we hadn't traveled in a jet.)
