    ... little raccoon, begging for food from the tourists idiot enough to feed him. I was not so idiotic, but I did take a picture--he looks quite woebegone.

    We had dinner at a little Mexican restaurant next door--very authentic. We were the only white people there. Very good food and reasonably priced, and, best of all, we could walk.

    Tomorrow, we're headed to the Houston Museum of Art and a drive-in.

    ... rotten, I should say that the rides were definitely not in the Adventure World league and were definitely not scary (even for me)!
    Having been disappointed by the rides we decided to console ourselves with food. We'd had no lunch (except for Matt who disappeared at NASA to get 2 slices of pizza at his own cost) so we went to a buffet place and the kids had a marvellous time.
