It was double date night - Krista's brother wanted to go to a French restaurant so he could get Foie Gras (which is illegal in california). So, it was off to a French restaurant. Not exactly what I wanted, especially since I was about to spend 2 weeks in France.

- The game was a pretty good one! The Dynamo won the game 2-1, and although my friends aren't necessarily soccer fans, they did have fun as well.

I Should Have Driven Home

I won't go into the horror of the trip from Houston to Baton Rouge other than to say that I could have driven the distance several times in the time it took me to fly there. I ended up spending the night in Houston after my flight was cancelled at midnight. However, I did make it home on June 30th, and was so happy to see my kids!!!!!
