Today we traveled through West Virginia on I-77 through beautiful mountain country. The RV performed very well. Attached you will see pictures of us going through not one but two tunnels! It was interesting to say the least! And yes there is light at the end of the tunnel ! (both, in fact)

I was up early and regretted that I had given Larry my binoculars to pack. There were many active birds that I could see down the hill from our balcony. I could ID the Black-mandibled Toucans but the little birds were impossible. By the time Erin got up at 6:30 I was almost completely ready to go so I went over to the boys room and got my binocs. I saw some birds but nothing new. So our count for the trip stands at 170 birds.

... called Comfort Plus. Our seats had a lot more leg room and reclined a lot more. I think I slept about 2 hours but I rested a lot longer. Larry got about 45 minutes of sleep twice. They served us breakfast about an hour out of London. It was mostly cloudy but we could see the countryside for a little while. We circled for a while before we landed after 11:00 am.
We decided to take the day and REALLY search for the lakes in the area as well as the city that our friend Christi grew up in. No problem, right? HA!
We took all of the roads the signs say to go on and drove in circles for what felt like hours. Nothing! Turn around and find our way back.

We started our day with driving out to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Unfortunately there was no way for us to get in to see anything. So bummed!
