... sunnier, and dryer, but it ended up being a cool, cloudy, and misty kind of day. (Thus the rain gear--I also can use this for a layer of warmth).
With all the rain we have had, the banks of the river were green, lush, and jungle like. We also passed by some waterfalls. The river moved along pretty well with a bit of white water along the way to had some excitement.
Once we are at Erby, we were just less that half way se we still have a ways to go.
... things where done and made in years go by. We end up spending more time here than expected but was interesting to see all the arts and crafts.
Our last stop is Blanchard Springs Caverns. We get there in time for the last tour of the day.
... pie called "Company's Comin'--baked meringue crust with pecans and crackers, filled with whipped cream and pineapple; also strawberry cobbler--both just ok.

Buffalo River Museum Information Center at Piney Falls on Hwy 7.
Very nice lady; didn't know about canoeing.
Met family that lives northwest of here; talked about what to see in area.
... Wider sites are needed; stepping out of the rv right on a hill was difficult.
Visitor Center for brochures, self-guiding map of historic downtown, which isn't much.
