Arrived early and got our pick of sites. We got this one right on the lake. At dusk, the family of skunks would come out to enjoy the fallen crab apples on the tree in our site. The sunsets were gorgeous! We met Puff the Purple Dragon on the beach! Loved the water tower.

Today we cycled 72 miles in rolling hills to a tiny town on the Ohio River. We were accommodated in two old, historic homes overlooking the River. We visited this town on Friday May 16, we arrived by Ohio River Ferry which is Free from Marion Ky to Cave in Rock, Illinois.
