... have had thunderstorms and lightning overhead along with one brief power outage. Such is life on the Florida coast.

Last Thursday, I ventured out to the main highway to pick up an Amazon package at a Fedex store then drop off a couple Amazon returns at a UPS store, refill water bottles at local Publix market and take in a movie. Friday, we took out the kayaks to explore the bay and lake in the park for a couple of ...

... with the ACA group and they were staying in a house about a mile from us. We decided to ride down the road and go say hi but when we arrived they were having a map meeting so we left. In the morning we met Tricia and Joe. Joe was very interested in our bike set ups and offered to trade us coffee for bike stories. We were happy to help. Tricia said "Joe never shares his coffee. It's Kona coffee from Hawaii and cost too much to get it online so ...

... the dog would pull out his ears sometime when they got in his way of dancing. It was an excellent time and we stayed out much later than we anticipated!

On Halloween, T and Gav showed us around the French Quarter where we devoured some beignets from Café Dumond, got some croissants at a friend's bakery and as if we hadn't had enough fried and buttery dough, we also ate a couple-day old doughnuts that were hanging out in the shop. We all were so tuckered from dancing ...
