We left Itasca State Park out the southern entrance, can you believe the it is 6.5 miles to the exit for starters and guessed it uphill again! I want to know when we get to go down hill? But even though I might not be a fast hill climber, I was proud of the fact that I never had to use my granny gear once on any of the hills we climbed today and that is sayin a lot believe me. To end the day, we decided to walk to the Douglas lodge for dinner. Here's the kicker, it was a 2.5 mile walk from the cabin and it seemed to be uphill both ways! ... damage. We stopped at Carrington to find someplace to fix the windscreen, but no one was able to do it that day. We were told of a place in Jamestown that would be able to do it, so we drove on and ended up at Larry’s Windscreen Repair at Jamestown. They fixed the chip and we all had a nice chat with the owner of the shop while he did the repair.
