We were scheduled from 3-7,and as I walked into the booth, it just started to drizzle! What a way to dampen the mood! :) it was so daunting at first getting used to all the different things that needed to be done! We had to scoop like 10+ flavours of ice cream, 3 flavours of soft serve, sundaes, milk shakes, ...

      ... mingle into
      one clear, fresh, vibrant body.

Freshet brings eerie feelings. Where the islands once existed,
now only the tops of the tallest trees are visible. There is something very odd

down to see, through the lens of the cold snow-melt waters, grass and rocks and
whole bushes submerged. How long can the living ones sustain their lives
      without oxygen?

... I drive. Great! I can demonstrate my command of the local streets. Big mistake.

As home comes in sight the girls make another one of those innocent suggestions. “Since you have plenty of time, why don’t you drop us at home and go to pick up some things we ordered the other day at the furniture shop? It’s not far away so we’re sure you’ll have no trouble finding it.” ...

[[[Later found out those things are optional and we didn't even have any of them, we just did Pirate Night with the kids which wasn't even on the list of costumes to bring...but I guess some ships require you to have these things and they DO do these themed nights so what you ...
