... created a spectacular sight for foodies or non-foodies alike. There was vibrant flower, fruit and veg and craft stalls peppered throughout and the lower levels contained alleys of book, poster, jewellery and Si-fi shops. Overseeing all this is the Pike Place Pig. Rachel the Piggy Bank is the mascot of Pike Place Market and one of the best public fundraisers. She has been “bringing home the bacon” for The Market Foundation since 1986, raising more than ...

... painful, one woman was annoyed that as America had occupied this country for such a long time she was amazed that more of the locals didn't speak English. Some of the comments we overhear are just awful, I can't see how these people think themselves so superior. We get to live it up for cheaper than any hostel in places no less than 3.5 stars. Thats not travelling is ...

... where they had an Observation Deck on the 77th Floor which was really cool. It gave you a view over the entire city and being the highest building in Seattle, gave you an unusual perspective which was pretty cool. From here I went to go fetch my camera from the repair shop and also go to the space needle for a final time before heading back and getting ready to travel over to Canada. I’ll leave the journey for the next post as this one is already far too long so bye for ...

          And then there were two

Just two more days until we are enroute! All hotels/bed and breakfasts have been reconfirmed and our itinerary is mostly set. We started our wacky sleep schedule last Sunday. Every night we go to bed one hour earlier and get up an hour earlier. It's been working great for Mark, not so much for me. Finally last night (aka 4:30pm), I discovered the wonder that is Melatonin. And it is soooo ...
