... volleyball but didn't realise she was still here. She has been attending Illinois State University for 3 years on a scholarship to play volleyball. Her mum was visiting so she was spending a few days in Chicago before her mum left for Aus again. We caught up and chatted for a while, took a photo and went our separate ways. It always amazes me how small the world actually is.

This morning we hit the road by 10:00, for a day on the road. Driving for a day doesn't seem bad when you're in the RV because we can walk around, and do things. We don't have to stop for the "bathroom" or if we need to make a drink / coffee.. You just get right on up and do it. It is a bit tricky when it comes to navigating around corners if you're not expecting them, but it makes for a fun trip! :) We drove all ...

We crossed back over the Missouri River in South Dakota, and made it into Minnesota. Plains, farms, wind turbines, cows...

We stopped a little bit earlier than expected, but found a hotel right off the highway just as the kids really needed a break or sleep, and went for a great late night hot tub and swim. We'll drive extra tomorrow.
