This scenic overlook on the ridge east of Vantage captures a panoramic view of the sculpture and the Columbia River Gorge. The last time I stopped here was in 2002 at the start of my motorcycle trip around the US. Another tourist, a young retired Navy, said they would fly A1s & F18s through the gorge during training missions about this time of ...

We've seen blue sky for a few days in a row now, a welcome change from the heavy, oppressive smoke, so I was able to get back out and go running for the first time in a few weeks and boy did that feel good!

As we pulled into our destination of Ellensburg, Claudio and I were thoroughly spent and thoroughly satisfied. ...

          Yesterday I had the ...

When I woke up this morning, I mistakenly took a second to imagine what sort of day I would have: hectic, exhausting, and long were just a few of the adjectives that floated through my groggy mind.

Now that the day is nearing it's end, I can't say that it didn't live up to my expectations. My morning began with the last minute gathering of road-trip essentials, ...
