... boys had seen was surrounded by water so they just checked it out from a distance.

The campground was small but nice. Our spot was the only empty site when we arrived and we had to do some close maneuvering to get in.

Sa**************ed up to the visitors center to check out the museum and take the cave tour.

We had just paid for our tour and gone outside to get in the departure line when I noticed the visitors center looked closed. The lights ...

JD is in high gear this morning. Took the truck into town for gas and quick Egg McMuffin breakfast. Pack up was quick and on the road by 8:00 am. JD wants to make it in 3 days so we're trying to do 470 miles today. Destination Dothan, AL. It turned 83 degrees in Montgomery - driving with the windows down - nice! Arrived earlier than planned at Pecan Point RV Park, set up and relaxed. Nice level site, easy access, facilities not that great, just ...

... a mammoth manatee on the surface before she swam away from the dock.

We said our goodbyes to Barrett then took off in search of placing our first travel bug. We ended up placing Isabella the Flame Point Siamese travel bug near Jacksonville before finally turning west into the sunset on I-10 and making our way. We finally crossed timezones and settled for Dothan, AL to lay our heads.

We paid $3.25 for gas in ...
